This is a custom hand built and HAND-SIGNED Buddy Blaze original guitar in good condition. This was a player's guitar owned and played by an Academy Award winning musician.
Buddy "Blaze" Webster (1956–2021) was an influential American custom guitar builder known for his work with numerous hard rock and metal musicians, including designing the iconic "Dean From Hell" for Dimebag Darrell.
Buddy Blaze started building and "hot-rodding" guitars in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas in 1985, drawing on a background in woodworking and machining. His craftsmanship quickly gained recognition; within six months, country music legend Lee Greenwood's band exclusively used Blaze guitars and basses.
Blaze became a sought-after luthier in the 1980s metal scene.
- The "Dean From Hell": Blaze famously applied the "lightning storm" graphic and set up the hardware for Dimebag Darrell's (Pantera) beloved Dean ML guitar, which became known as the "Dean From Hell".
- Kramer NightSwan: He joined Kramer Guitars, where he worked in artist relations and co-designed the distinctive "NightSwan" model with guitarist Vivian Campbell (Dio, Whitesnake).
- Artist Network: Over his career, he built, modified, or tech-ed guitars for a jaw-dropping list of artists, including Steve Vai, Slash, Trent Reznor, Stevie Nicks, and Ronnie Montrose.
