Late 1800's original vintage George Washburn "New Model" Parlor guitar.
This is the oldest guitar we have had in the shop, incredible (almost 150 years) original George Washburn vintage parlor guitar made in the late 1800's. Lovingly restored to solid structural condition by our Luthier Sean Minchin. This guitar looks to be all original except for a new ebony bridge custom crafted in the restoration. It has a unique heritage parlor sound and is begging to be played, ready to make a connection with a new player who can appreciate this wonderful instrument.
CONDITION:
This 150 year old guitar shows its heritage with some play wear marks on the surface, numerous cracks in body sides and top, all cracks have been professionally repaired and restored. The guitar is in solid structural condition.
